This Privacy Policy describes how Jas InTech LLC ("JasCloud," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use our cloud hosting services at cloud.jas.vc. This policy complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by CPRA, including regulations effective January 1, 2026.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email, phone number, company name, mailing address. Passwords are stored in hashed form only.

Billing Information: Payment details are processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers. We retain transaction history and invoices.

Usage Data: Resource consumption metrics (CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth), instance logs, API usage, support ticket history.

Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, access timestamps.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (SSN, biometric data, health information, etc.) unless voluntarily provided.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Providing Services: Account management, resource provisioning, transaction processing
  • Billing: Payment processing, invoices, subscriptions, refunds
  • Communication: Service notices, support responses, technical updates
  • Security: Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns, diagnosing issues, improving performance
  • Legal Compliance: Meeting legal obligations and government requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. How We Share Your Information

Payment Processors: Stripe processes payments under their privacy policy. We receive only a token and last four card digits.

Service Providers: Third-party vendors for hosting, monitoring, analytics, and support. Contractually obligated to protect your data.

Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

Business Transfers: In connection with merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with prior notice.

We have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months.

4. Your Rights Under the CCPA

California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of what personal information we've collected, its sources, business purposes, and third-party recipients
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell/share data, but will provide opt-out if this changes
  • Right to Limit Sensitive Data Use: Limit use of sensitive information to what's necessary
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: No penalties for exercising your rights

Contact support@jas.vc to exercise these rights. We respond within 45 days (extendable by 45 days with notice). You may designate an authorized agent with signed written authorization.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Duration of account + 30 days after closure
  • Billing records: 7 years (tax/financial compliance)
  • Usage/access logs: 12 months
  • Support communications: 3 years after resolution

6. Cookies

  • Essential: Session management and authentication (cannot be disabled)
  • Functional: Preferences and settings
  • Analytics: Internal usage analysis only

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Security

We implement encryption (TLS/SSL in transit, at rest), access controls, regular security assessments, and employee training. No method is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

Services are operated from the United States. By using the Services from outside the US, you consent to transfer and processing in the US.

9. Children's Privacy

Services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. Contact support@jas.vc if you believe we have.

10. Changes

Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via email or website notice.
